I think Northbank have the best hardtop and layout on the market for fishing. Unfortunately, this video doesn't say or show how insanely wet these boats are in rough seas, almost dangerous and pretty unstable at rest. Anyone that isn't tucked away in the cab will get wet in a bit of chop and you better make sure you option up with windscreen wipers

I've heard aftersales service is pathetic. Amongst more concerning issues, on the minor items list, they won't even give hull paint code to someone who has spend hundreds of thousands with them....

Those trailers have too many dissimilar metals for my liking. That front galvanized section is a perfect place for galvanic reaction with the aluminium sections. This modern style of drive on trailer is a high maintenance option. To reduce maintenance costs fit a power winch and keep the majority of the tailer and wheel hubs out of the water. Cheers

"Up to 27% better fuel efficiency" - This statement is straight from the colouring-in department and without further explanation could mean that the engine is more or less efficient at different rpm ranges. Why not take them out for a typical days fishing alongside each other with a couple of kids or an esky of beer, and compare how much fuel they would typically use in the same outing instead of just repeating marketing garbage?

My sea flea with a ‘57 15 hp Evinrude left the same wake, but I couldn’t afford a camera to show everyone. You’ll have to believe it 😅

Looks like carb was slower in response out of the hole but was starting to pull away at the end. EFI will have the quicker input responses but looks like the carb still has the better overall performance if you remove that delay (nobody is dragging racing when out in there boat so wouldn’t even notice that delay difference, only the top end difference and if it had poorer hole shot which it looks like it didn’t). EFI wins on the fuel efficiency hands down though and I would take that over the slightly better performance form the carb. Although, I’m sure the maintenance is easier to do on the carb over the EFI engine as the motor ages. Would still go EFI though in this comparison. Nice review!

I think its a great idea and when the price comes down id love to buy one. No more bad gas, gummed carburetor, pulling the rope tull my arm hurts. Sounds great.

You would just about need to win Lotto to afford that boat and trailer package. Being that there are so many pre ordered there are a lot of people with the extra $$

Verado mercury is not the best choice
